Cedar Grange is a care home based in Halifax, providing residential care for elderly residents in a late Georgian building, set on 0.9 acres of land.
We provide residential care for the elderly and welcome all, whether independent, frail or self-caring or with disability such as impaired or total loss of hearing or sight.
LIFE AT CEDAR GRANGE
Residents can lead an active and fulfilling lifestyle, which involves trips to local attractions, restaurants, seasonal parties or the more reserved resident may prefer to spend their time reading books from our home library or playing games.
Residents enjoy home-cooked meals which they can choose to eat in the dining room or in the privacy of their own room; all dietary requirements can be catered for. Daily newspapers and magazines may be delivered and personal shopping can be brought in.
The gardens also provide a chance to relax in the fresh air and are an aspect of the house in which many residents enjoy spending time.
At Cedar Grange we bring the appointments to you, or we will help and support you to go to the practice of your choice. We receive regular visits from doctors, dentists, district nurses, chiropodists, opticians, hairdressers and entertainers. Local organisations and ministers of various denominations also pay regular visits.
