The Heathers is a spacious residential home, based in Bradford, providing support and care to all ages with past or present alcohol problems, in an environment designed to meet their needs.

LIFE AT THE HEATHERS

We will support residents to lead an active and fullfilling lifestyle. Residents enjoy home-cooked meals which they can choose to eat in the dining room or in the privacy of their own room; all dietary requirements are catered for. Daily newspapers and magazines may be delivered and personal shopping can be brought in.

The scenic gardens and landscape are also home to a vegetable patch and a greenhouse, in which many residents enjoy spending time. The games room offers pool, darts and table football for the more sporting types.

At The Heathers we bring the appointments to you, or we will help and support you to go to the practice of your choice. All needs are catered for and there is never a dull moment. We receive regular visits from doctors, dentists, district nurses, chiropodists, opticians, hairdressers and entertainers. Local organisations and ministers of various denominations also pay regular visits.
